Introductory Prerequisite Program: INTRO/MODULE 1
The course is organized to emphasize personal embodiment of the work. Jan models what she teaches and guides her students through an experiential curriculum. The foundation training includes:
Sensory awareness of one’s own midline and ground
Extensive individual support and instruction at the table
Consideration of the relationship between Biodynamic CranioSacral therapy and Meditation
A strong foundation in anatomy as it relates to Biodynamic work.
Consideration of embryology and birth patterns as they emerge in the field and at the table.

During the Foundation Course, we deepen our awareness of the Breath of Life. We continue the exploration of the midline, embryology and our ability to be present with the human system. We will be working with understanding trauma and the HPA-axis (hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal) and how to relate to them from a biodynamic perspective. We will be looking at the central nervous system (CNS) and its triune aspects; sympathetic, parasympathetic and social nervous systems. This is a comprehensive and experiential course.
